She begins touring on March 11, at the Sovereign Center in Pennsylvania to promote her third album, Play On, which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 Chart in November, 2009. The album has already sold over one million copies making it certified platinum.
Underwood’s musical success has skyrocketed since winning American Idol back in 2005. She has been inducted into the Grand Ole Opry, won multiple Grammys, and named Coutry Music Female Vocalist of the Year three times. Her first album, Some Hearts, was the most commercially successful debut ever to come from a country artist.
