The Black Eyed Peas

On the heels of six Grammy nominations, The Black Eyed Peas are at the top of their game, touring through June in promotion of their fifth album, The E.N.D.

Monday, March 1st, 2010

David Gray

British singer/songwriter, David Gray, had been making music for several years before launching onto the mainstream music scene in 2000 with his fourth album, White Ladder. The self-recorded hit reached global success, topping the charts in the U.S. and U.K. It became the biggest selling album ever in Ireland.

Gray has had continued success with releases, A New Day at Midnight and Life in Slow Motion. He returned in 2009 with his eighth album, Draw the Line. This record is a departure from his soft acoustic norm. Draw the Line exhibits a less introspective and more outward sound.

In an interview, Gray gave his take on the new album. “It’s full of energy and its got a different mood and attitude than my other stuff… this just comes right at you, I’m looking the world squarely in the eye on this record.”

Gray will kick off  his Draw the Line tour at the Verizon Wireless Theater in Houston, Texas on March 11th.
