Exciting Lineups for Fall Festivals

It may be sad to think of summer ending, but there are at least two reasons to get excited for fall.

First up is Bumbershoot, which occurs every September in the heart of Seattle at the Seattle Center. It is one of North America’s largest urban arts and music festivals, and has been showcasing local talent alongside world renowned performers since 1971.

Stone Temple Pilots Tour in Late Summer

Stone Temple Pilots

The Stone Temple Pilots are touring in late summer in support of their new self-titled album, which was released in May of this year.

The tour will kick off in Winnipeg, MB on August 7, and will hit more than thirty cities before wrapping in October.

Aerosmith Tours North America

Iconic American rockers, Aerosmith, hit the road last week for a summer excursion they are calling the Cocked, Locked, and Ready to Rock Tour.

If you were disappointed by the cancellation of last year’s tour, 2010 is proving to be the year to see Aerosmith, who claim they are back and “tighter than ever.”

Having just returned from a successful tour in Europe, the group will visit over twenty cities throughout North America, including six stops in Canada. The final show will take place at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC on September 16. (more…)

Tegan & Sara Play Honda Civic Tour

Canadian indie duo, Tegan and Sara began touring back in January for their sixth album, Sainthood. They opened the tour to a sold-out crowd at the Orpheum Theatre in Vancouver, BC.

If you missed the winter show, you’ll have another chance this fall. Tegan and Sara will return to Vancouver for a show at Malkin Bowl in Stanley Park on September 24.

In the meantime, Tegan and Sara will play the 2010 Honda Civic Tour, which begins today, July 23, in Raleigh, North Carolina. Along with Paramore, New Found Glory, and (more…)

Fans and critics alike are singing Lady Gaga’s praises. She is currently on the road for the Monster Ball, considered one of the most exciting and elaborate live shows of the year.

Lady Gaga spends nearly every night in a different city. Somehow she still finds time for an interview or two.

Gaga appeared on the cover of an early July issue of Rolling Stone Magazine. In her lengthy interview with the magazine, she revealed a lot about her writing process. She also reported some exciting news for fans, that her newest album should be released in early 2011! (more…)

Bryan Adams on The Road to the PNE

Celebrated Canadian musician, Bryan Adams, has tacked on seven Canadian cities for the tour he is calling The Road to the PNE.

The tour will cover a total of eight dates in Canada, including the August 21st performance at Empire Fields in Vancouver where he will be joined by The Beach Boys in celebration of the Pacific National Exhibition’s 100th anniversary.

Bryan Adams is a legend in Canada. After numerous Junos and his induction into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, Adams received the Governor General’s Performing Arts Award in May of this year honoring his inspiring thirty year career in music. (more…)
