The multi-talented Rufus Wainwright is currently on tour in Australia with plans for a North American stint later this year. New tour dates were just announced for December. Along with five Canadian dates, Wainwright will also perform in major U.S. cities including San Francisco and New York.

Wainwright is a celebrated singer/songwriter, composer, and most recently, director. His latest musical work, All Days Are Nights: Songs For Lulu, was released in March of this year. Wainwright’s music has been widely praised, earning him two Junos and the 2008 nomination for “Songwriter of the Year.” (more…)

Lady Gaga has been on the road since late 2009 for her second album, The Fame Monster. The ever expanding Monster Ball tour has taken Gaga to sold-out venues around the globe.

This week, Gaga tacked on even more dates to the 2011 leg of the Monster Ball tour, giving her vast fan base even more opportunities to see her now famous live show, and extending the trek through May.

Weezer to Play First Two Releases on Tour

Last week, Weezer made a lot of fans very happy with the announcement that they will be playing both the complete “Blue Album” and Pinkerton on a multi-city tour this winter!

Stone Temple Pilots Reroute Tour

Stone Temple Pilots

The Stone Temple Pilots have announced a rerouted tour set to kick off on October 8 at St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa, FL.

The nearly forty city tour that began in August was stopped short earlier this week when frontman, Scott Weiland, announced that the band would be taking a “short break” before hitting the road again in October.

Usher Tours in November

R & B megastar, Usher, will be going on the road this winter to promote Raymond vs. Raymond, his sixth album, released in March of this year. The tour is called OMG, and will feature special guests, Trey Songz and Miguel.

Raymond vs Raymond debuted at number one on the charts, and has already gone platinum. Versus, an extension to the album, produced the current hit, “DJ Got Us Fallin’ in Love.”
