Taylor Swift Tours for Speak Now

Last week, Taylor Swift announced the dates for the North American leg of her Speak Now World Tour set for 2011. The venues are still being confirmed for what will be a forty-two city tour.

Speak Now will kick off with two nights in Omaha, NE on May 27 and 28. Swift will play four Canadian cities, including Montreal, Toronto, Edmonton, and Vancouver, before closing out the tour in Arlington, TX on October 8.

New Kids on the Block & Backstreet Boys Expand Tour

On the heels of a hot debut performance together at the American Music Awards, New Kids on the Block and the Backstreet Boys have added nearly twenty dates to their upcoming 2011 tour.

The double act will now play in three Canadian cities, as well as nineteen U.S. cities through July.

Keith Urban Gets Closer in 2011

Three-time Grammy Award winner, Keith Urban, has announced his tour dates for 2011.

The Get Closer 2011 World Tour will kick off in Mobile, AL on June 16th. Urban will play over forty U.S. cities, before closing out the U.S. leg of the tour in Minneapolis, MN on October 15th.

Brian Wilson Re-imagines Gershwin

Iconic songwriter, Brian Wilson, is set to play his first cross-Canada tour next summer in support of his newest album, Brian Wilson Re-imagines Gershwin.

The tour gets started in Kitchener, ON on June 16. Wilson will perform two weeks in Canada, closing out the tour at the Orpheum Theatre in Vancouver on June 28.

Wilson gained fame for his time with the Beach Boys, but that isn’t where his musical pursuits ended. He has had continued success (more…)

Robert Plant on Band of Joy Tour

Famed Led Zeppelin front-man, Robert Plant, revealed the tour dates for the second leg of his Band of Joy North American tour this week.

The tour kicks off on January 18th in Asheville, NC, and ends with two nights at the War Memorial Auditorium in Nashville, TN on February 8th and 9th. Plant will also play one show in Toronto on January 22nd. The North Mississippi Allstars will offer support as opening act for all dates.

Band of Joy is Plant’s most recent musical collaboration. Along with Buddy Miller, Patty Griffin, Darrell Scott, Byron House, and Marco Giovino, Plant created a folksy album sampling songs mostly from the sixties, (more…)

Kid Rock Announces Born Free Tour

Yesterday, Kid Rock announced the first round of dates for his Born Free Tour, which will take him to cities all over the U.S. in 2011.

According to his official website, Kid Rock will kick off the tour with a huge party of a show at the Detroit Lions’ Ford Field on January 15th, honoring his 40th birthday.

The tour announcement comes on the heels of Kid Rock’s new release, Born Free. For fans who can’t wait until January to hear Kid Rock perform his new tunes, you can see him perform the album’s title track, (more…)
