Robert Plant Extends Band of Joy Tour

Robert Plant has extended The Band of Joy Tour, which kicks off today in Asheville, NC. Plant and the Band of Joy album collaborators will now tour through the end of April, playing their final show in Denver on April 27th.

Many west coast dates were added, including Vancouver, Portland, Seattle, and Los Angeles. The North Mississippi Allstars will offer support as opening act on all tour dates.

Rock and roll greats, Rod Stewart and Stevie Nicks, have announced that they will come together this spring for an outing they are calling the Heart & Soul Tour.

The co-headlining tour will get underway in Fort Lauderdale, FL on March 20th. The two will travel to eleven U.S. cities, as well as Montreal and Toronto, before closing out the tour in (more…)

Tim McGraw Kicks Off Emotional Traffic in Spring

Although you may have seen him mostly on the big screen in recent months, country music’s Tim McGraw will be back this spring on an extensive tour in support of his November release, Number One Hits.

The new album is a collection of McGraw’s top singles, like 1994’s “Don’t Take the Girl” and the more recent hit, “Southern Voice.” It also features the current number one song, “Felt Good on My Lips.”

More Dates for Brooks, McLachlan, & Chesney

2011 is shaping up to be a great year for concert-goers, as today’s most popular musicians continue to announce new tour dates in North America.

Out of retirement and back on stage, Garth Brooks will play ten new dates at Wynn’s Encore Theater in Las Vegas. After many sell-out shows, he is now scheduled to perform through July.

Kylie Minogue on Aphrodite World Tour

Australian pop queen, Kylie Minogue, has announced plans for a global tour this spring. The Aphrodite – Live 2011 World Tour will kick off in Denmark on February 19th.

Minogue will be touring in support of her 2010 release, Aphrodite. Fueled by the hit single, “Get Outta My Way,” Aphrodite reached number one on charts in the U.K. and nineteen on U.S. charts.

David Gray Launches Lost and Found Tour

British singer and songwriter, David Gray, has announced that he will begin touring this February in support of his 2010 release, Foundling.

Like many other top acts have recently done, Gray is taking an intimate approach to tour scheduling, choosing only to play smaller venues in larger cities. What’s more, Gray’s tour will be all acoustic.

David Gray’s 2011 Lost and Found tour will kick off February 21st at the Citi Performing Arts Center in Boston, MA, with stops in twelve cities, including Toronto and Vancouver, before closing out at Spreckels Theatre in San Diego, CA on (more…)
