The Eagles Tour North America

The Eagles

Southern California rock group, The Eagles, are touring North America in promotion of their 2007 album, Long Road Out of Eden. This is the seventh studio release from the band, and first original effort released in twenty-eight years. It debuted at number one on the billboard chart, and received two Grammys in 2009.
The Eagles were formed in the seventies with a sound that incorporated country instrumentation with the harmonies of California surfer rock. They have become music industry icons with decades of hits. Songs like “Desperado,” “Hotel California,” and “Tequila Sunrise” propelled the band into fame, and made them one of the most commercially successful groups in the U.S. The Eagle’s 1976 release, Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975, even outsold Michael Jackson’s Thriller, and is still the most sold album ever in the U.S.
The Eagles kick off their tour April 16th, at the legendary Hollywood Bowl in Los Angles, CA. The band will make two stops in Vancouver, and wrap the tour at Cricket Wireless Amphitheater in Chula Vista, CA.
