More shows added as Toby Keith tour gets underway

Tuesday, June 23rd, 2009

Having just begun his summer outing, Toby Keith has announced added dates to his tour that he is currently on with fellow country singer Trace Adkins. The added shows will be scattered amongst the previously scheduled performances in the months of June, July, and August — some of which will be Keith by his lonesome — padding the overall itinerary to a total of 35 shows.

As previously mentioned, the tour has already begun, though you can catch Toby Keith and Trace Adkins at their next scheduled date on June 26th in Tampa, FL at the Ford Amphitheater at State Fairgrounds. The tour will continue throughout the summer until the final performance on September 19th in Tinley Park, IL at the First midwest Bank Amphitheatre. The July 18th, August 3rd, 27th, 28th, 29th, and 30th shows are planned to be the shows featuring just Toby Keith.

Keith is currently still promoting his 14th studio album which released late last year, titled “That Don’t Make Me a Bad Guy.” Despite being his 14th studio release, the album rose to the top of Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart, making it Keith’s seventh album to achieve that honor. Meanwhile Adkins is promoting his latest album “X” which peaked at No.7 on the same chart shortly after its release in November.

Miley Cyrus ditches alter-ego for newly announced tour

Wednesday, June 3rd, 2009

For the first time in her career, Miley Cyrus will be hitting the road without being accompanied by her alternate persona, Hannah Montana, which will be quite the undertaking as Cyrus will travel across 43 cities in the United States with herself as the sole main attraction.

The long tour will begin September 14th in Portland, OR and continue throughout the fall right into December when she closes with a performance in Miami, FL on December 2nd. Being away from family for such a long stretch can be tough, but thankfully Miley will have her older brother Trace Cyrus and his band Metro Station along for the ride to open each show.

Since breaking onto the scene in 2003, Miley Cyrus has achieved considerable success, both with and without the help of Hannah Montana, and her latest studio album “Breakout” — also a first solely as Miley Cyrus, rather than Hannah Montana — debuted at the top of Billboards Top 100.

Miley Cyrus tickets will go on sale to the public on June 13th. Check below for tour dates, and keep an eye out on this page for when our Miley Cyrus tickets become available!
