Supertramp Adds Canadian Leg to 70-10 Tour

Supertramp

Led by original member and co-founder Rick Davies, Supertramp will be coming to Canada this summer on a continuation of their “70-10 Tour,” which commemorates the release of their debut album, Supertramp, in 1970.

The tour kicks off in Victoria on May 31st, and continues through twelve cities, including Vancouver, Calgary, and Winnipeg, before wrapping in Montreal on June 16th. (more…)

Kid Rock Brings Born Free to Canada

Yesterday, Kid Rock added a slew of Canadian dates to his “Born Free Tour.” The new itinerary will take him to eight cities in Canada from Vancouver on May 17th to London on May 28th.

Kid Rock has been on the road promoting his new album, Born Free, since early January. His U.S. dates opened at Ford Field in Detroit, where Kid celebrated his 40th birthday. Backed by his Twisted Brown Trucker Bnad, the party continues with Kid Rock in Canada this May.

Bob Seger and The Silver Bullet Band Tour in Spring

Rock icons, Bob Seger and The Silver Bullet Band, will tour North America this spring. The tour gets underway in Toledo, Ohio on March 26th, and closes out in Auburn Hills, Michigan on May 19th. One Canadian stop is scheduled for Toronto on April 12th.

Seger released the compilation album, Early Seger Vol. 1, in 2009. The setlist for the upcoming shows will include music from that album, as well as a selection of career hits. Seger’s website also promises “a taste of some new music.” (more…)

Motley Crue to Tour with Poison & New York Dolls

Famed glam rockers, Motley Crue, will join Poison and the New York Dolls this summer on a forty city North American tour.

This year marks the thirtieth anniversary for Motley Crue, who will headline the upcoming shows. Noted for iconic albums like Girls, Girls, Girls and Dr. Feelgood, the band has sold millions of albums, and garnered millions of fans all over the world.

Since their November reunion announcement, System of a Down has had metal fans in North America waiting anxiously for news of a tour. Before heading off to play dates in Europe, the band announced this week that they will play a handful of dates in the U.S. and Canada in May.
