Heaven and Hell close out the summer with tour

Monday, May 11th, 2009

For the third summer in a row, Heaven and Hell, led by frontman and rock legend Ronnie James Dio, will be touring across North America, this time exclusively in the month of August. Dio, along with bandmates Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Vinny Appice, will be performing a total of 15 concerts during their month long tour, beginning in Vancouver, BC at the UBC Thunderbird Arena on August 7. Joining them on tour is opening act Coheed and Cambria, who will be playing at every stop except for the Seattle show on August 8th, which will be opened by Neurosis. Vancouver will be the only Canadian stop on this tour, much to the chagrin of other Canadian fans, but if you can, be sure to check out Heaven and Hell before their tour ends on August 28th in Boston.
