Alabama Tickets Continued
The members of Alabama are Randy Owen (vocals, rhythm
guitar), Teddy Gentry (vocals, bass guitar), Jeff Cook (lead guitar,
keyboards, bass guitar, fiddle, banjo, mandolin) and Mark Herndon
(drums, percussion). Along with The Oak Ridge Boys and the Statler Brothers,
Alabama is recognized as having paved the way for today's top
country groups, including Diamond Rio, Lonestar and Rascal Flatts. The group has collected more American
Music Awards than any other artist in history, with 22 wins.
Some of Alabama's biggest hits include "Tar Top", "(You've
Got) The Touch", "Take Me Down", "Old Flame" and "Dixieland Delight".
On November 15, 2005, Alabama was inducted into the Country
Music Hall of Fame during the 39th annual Country Music Awards in New
York.
