The single tied a record set by Billy Ray Cyrus. Blake Shelton also has a hit with the single, "The Baby", which was released on his sophomore album, The Dreamer, in 2003.

Blake Shelton moved to Nashville from his hometown of Ada, Oklahoma at the age of 17 and received a record contract with Warner Bros. Records. Shortly after, he released two successful albums: Blake Shelton (2001) and The Dreamer (2003).

Blake Shelton released a DVD of music videos in October 2004 titled, Blake Shelton's Barn & Grill: Video Collection, and preceded his latest CD release, Blake Shelton's Barn & Grill. In 2005, he toured extensively in support of the album including a coveted opening spot on Rascal Flatts' sold-out "Here's to You Tour".
