Pat Green (born April 5, 1972 in San Antonio, Texas) is a singer/songwriter from Texas. He was born the eighth of nine siblings in San Antonio and raised in Waco, Texas.

Pat Green began his music career at the age of 18 playing in bars and soon caught the ear of Willie Nelson. He began touring with Nelson and other famous country musicians and sold more than 250,000 albums before signing his first major-label contract. Pat Green's first major-label recorded album, Three Days, was released in 2001. He has since released three more albums with his major breakthrough album, Wave On Wave, released in 2003 .

He has, however, recently joined popular country music artists like Keith Urban, Gretchen Wilson, Kenny Chesney and others on major headliner tours. In 2006, Pat Green expanded his horizons by touring with the Dave Matthews Band. His latest album is the 2006 release Cannonball.
