D12, also known as The Dirty Dozen, is a hip-hop group from Detroit, Michigan. Formed in 1996, the group boasts chart-topping hits in the US, the UK, Canada and Australia. Their song, "Purple Hills," reached No. 1 on the US Billboard rap charts. The groups achieved widespread attention when one of their members, Eminem, became internationally acclaimed as a solo performer. Despite the untimely death of another member, Proof, D12 continues recording and performing live both with and without Eminem.
D12's latest release, a mix tape titled Return of the Dozen - Vol. 2, includes the work of the groups current members, Eminem, Bizarre, Kon Artis, Kuniva, Swifty McVay and Fuzz Scoota. The group continues to tour both in the US and internationally.
