Kool Keith got his hip-hop career underway in 1984 out of New York. He has since released a whopping twenty-nine albums. He began his career as a part of Ultramagnetic MCs, but went solo by 1995.
Kool Keith's 2000 album, Matthew, made the Billboard Heatseekers Chart, and 1999's Black Elvis/ Lost in Space made number 10 on the same chart. In 2011, Kool Keith released his newest work, The Legend of Tashan Dorrsett, as a follow-up to his 2009 album, Tashan Dorrsett. Kool Keith has collaborated with such notables as Ice-T and Pimp Rex.
