R. Kelly is an American R&B singer and songwriter from Chicago, Illinois. In addition to his performances, he has produced and mixed music for a long list of musicians including Janet Jackson, Toni Braxton, Celine Dion, and Usher. Kelly's best-known hit is "I Believe I Can Fly," which won three Grammy Awards. He has more than eleven studio albums, two collaboration albums with Jay-Z, several compilations and two unreleased albums. In addition to the Grammys, he has won six American Music Awards, the BET Award, six Billboard Awards and two NAACP Awards, to name a few.
R. Kelly's most recent album release, Love Letter, peaked at No. 2 on the US Billboard R&B/Hip-hop Albums chart. Containing hits like "When a Woman Loves" and the album's title-song, "Love Letter," his latest work pays tribute to the classic soul music of the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s.
