Salt N Pepa Tickets
Salt N Pepa is a hip hop trio from Queens, the best selling female rap act of all time. They've sold fifteen million albums and singles worldwide, and six have gone gold or platinum. Originally named Super Nature, the '85 single, "The Showstoppers," was their first success. After the name change, they signed to Next Plateau Records for the album, "Hot, Cool & Vicious," in '86.
The '88 album, "A Salt With a Deadly Pepa" was followed by a third, "Black's Magic" in '90, which sold over one and a half million copies. The fourth album, "Very Necessary," was recorded with London Records/Polygram in '93. Salt N Pepa are the first female Grammy winners in the genre, won the I Am Hip Hop Award in 2010 and toured nationally in 2011.
