music, standards and jazz singer who is widely considered to be one
of the best interpretative singers in these genres. In 2002, Q
magazine named Bennett in their list of the "50 Bands To
See Before You Die". He often sings "Fly Me to the Moon" without a microphone or amplification, demonstrating to younger audience
members the art of vocal projection.

He surpassed our expectations. Venue at River Rock is intimate - mind you we had 2nd row seats!! Felt like Tony was singing to us! Bandmates sound was tight, clean and never over shadowed Tony's voice at all. We would go see and hear him again!

After having achieved artistic and commercial success in the 1950s and early 1960s, Tony Bennett's career suffered an extended downturn during the height of the rock music era. However, he staged a remarkable comeback in the late 1980s and 1990s, expanding his audience to a younger generation while keeping his musical style intact. He remains a popular and critically praised recording artist and concert performer in the 2000s.
Tony Bennett has had numerous hits throughout his career including "I Left My Heart in San Francisco", "Blue Velvet", "Stranger in Paradise" and "Fly Me to the Moon". He has also performed alongside some of the most famous musicians throughout the years, such as Elvis Costello, Frank Sinatra, k.d. lang and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Tony Bennett continues to tour.
