He has written pieces that include elements of classical music, rock and roll, jazz, funk, country music, bluegrass, blues, latin music, trance music, heavy metal and other various styles.

Trey Anastasio has collaborated with a multitude of artists including Phil Lesh, Les Claypool, Dave Matthews and Ivan Neville of The Neville Brothers.
