Public Image Ltd. are a punk band from England. The group got their start in 1978 with the album, First Issue.Their 1979 album, Metal Box, was listed among Rolling Stone magazine's "500 Greatest Albums of All Time."
The band decided to take a break in 1992, but reunited in 2009. They have since toured in North America and the U.K. They are scheduled to perform at Japan's Super Sonic Festival in August, 2011.
