Akercocke Tickets
Akercocke is an English metal band from London, consisting of Jason Mendonca, Matt Wilcock, Peter Benjamin, and David Gray (former drummer for Church of Satan). The group plays a mixture of black, death, and progressive metal known for its Satanic themes and highly sexual lyrical content. Their first album was self-released to positive reviews from metal taste-makers KERRANG and TERRORIZER magazines, praising the album's "searing blast of black noise," "dark, brutal, and unholy marriage of influences," and "intangible aura of pure evil," and the group developed a large cult fanbase.
Since then, Akercocke have released four more studio albums, including 2007's Antichrist on Earache Records, and recorded material for an upcoming live concert DVD, A Decade of Devil Worship, as well as playing concert dates worldwide.
