Iggy & The Stooges Tickets
Also known as "The Stooges" in the U.S., the American rock band was formed in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and played from '67-'74, reforming in '03. The original line-up sold few records and encountered much hostility, but were crucial to the rise of punk. They were inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2010.
Known for wild live performances, their self-titled debut album was a total failure. "Fun House" came out in '70, and they signed with Columbia Records through David Bowie's contacts. Preparing for a fourth album, Columbia dropped them, and their last performance is on a live album of Metallic K.O. In '09, Asheton died of a heart attack, but Iggy & The Stooges continued, performing at All Tomorrow's Parties in 2011.
