Born in 1969, Jakob Dylan is the lead singer for "The Wallflowers." The son of Bob Dylan, he has released two solo albums. In '89, The Wallflowers signed with Virgin records, but the debut album was a failure. The second, "Bringing Down the House" of '96 sold six million copies. Five albums were released by '07.
Dylan's solo career continued with Columbia Records. He wrote "Here Comes Now" for TV's Six Degrees and "Stardust Universe" for Jericho in '06. Collaborating with Dhani Harrison on a Lennon tribute album, he played Bonnaroo, Rothbury, Summerfest, Newport and Austin City Limits in '08. Dylan's 2010 album is entitled "Women and Country." He is married to actress Paige Dylan.
