Pere Ubu Tickets

The experimental rock group, Pere Ubu, originated in Cleveland, Ohio during 1975. Their musical style is difficult to identify as they fuse elements from garage rock, new wave, industrial and post-punk into their music without actually filing into any specific genre. The band has a dedicated following of fans. Their single titled "Waiting for Mary" achieved the US Billboard Modern Rock chart within the Top 10 in 1989. The group has undergone several line-up changes, but have maintained their unique musical styling.

Including their live albums, Pere Ubu has more than twenty albums spanning forty years. They pride themselves on the concept that their art is not commercially driven, but is instead an artistic endeavor for which they have earned a cult following.
