The indie rock band, Phoenix, started their career in Versailles, France in 1999. They have released four albums, two live albums, and eleven singles. They received four gold certifications with the single, "1901."
In 2009, they won a Grammy award for "Best Alternative Music Album." They have appeared on several TV shows like Saturday Night Live and The Tonight Show With Conan O'Brien.
