An English singer/songwriter, musician and radio artist, Rick Astley is best known for his '87 song, "Never Gonna Give You Up," which went #1 in twenty five countries. He is the only solo male artist to have his first eight singles reach the top ten in the UK. Astley retired in '93 with forty million copies sold.

Making a comeback in '07, he became an internet sensation with the "Never Gonna Give You Up" video, which spawned the term, "Rickrolling." He was voted the "Best Actor Ever" by internet users at the MTV European Music Awards. His 2010 single, "Lights Out," was recorded on his own label, and he is currently a DJ for London's Magic FM.
