Rock Star Supernova is on tour and we have your ticket! The supergroup, who
were formed on reality television, consists of drummer Tommy Lee (Motley
Crue), bass player Jason Newsted (ex-Metallica),
guitarist Gilby Clarke (ex-Guns N'
Roses), and new singer Lukas Rossi (Rise Electric and ex-Cleavage). Rock Star
Supernova formed the basis of the second season of the Rock Star television program
on CBS in the quest to find a lead singer.
Rock Star Supernova's first video was recorded in early October 2006, and is due
for release soon. Their first singles "Be Yourself And 5 Other Cliches" and "It's All Love" are
already on many radio stations.

Rock Star Supernova was originally formed as "Supernova", but the legality of Supernova's use of that name had been called into question by another band of the same name, a pop punk trio from California that was founded in 1989 and best known for a song contributed to the soundtrack to the 1994 film Clerks. After this, the band's name was changed to Rock Star Supernova. The band's debut album, Rock Star Supernova, was released in late 2006.
