Silverstein is a Canadian post-hardcore band from
Burlington, Ontario. The band formed in February of 2000 as a
side project for most of the original members, who were all in
other local bands at the time. Silverstein signed to
Victory Records in October of 2002. The following January, the
band recorded their full-length debut album, When Broken Is
Easily Fixed.
Silverstein's bandmembers include Paul Koehler, Billy
Hamilton, Neil Boshart, Josh Bradford and Shane Told. They
have toured extensively with various bands and festivals, and
have scheduled a headlining tour for the fall of 2006.

In 2005, Silverstein performed on the Never Sleep Again tour with bands such as Aiden, Hawthorne Heights and Bayside. In early 2006, Silverstein toured with the band Simple Plan in Europe. They recently toured Canada with the Taste of Chaos tour as well as touring Europe, Japan and Australia.
Silverstein also toured on the 2006 Vans Warped Tour in support of both their studio album Discovering the Waterfront and the compilation 18 Candles: The Early Years. 18 Candles: The Early Years compiles the band's first two self-financed EPs with some acoustic and live material and a remix of the Discovering the Waterfront single "Smile In Your Sleep". Silverstein has announced a major North American headlining tour for the fall of 2006, with the band Aiden.
