In 1997, member Pat Lillard (Bass), formed The Riverboat Gamblers. His original intention was to emulate The Candy Snatchers. The other band members include Michael Wiebe (vocals), Fadi El-Assad (Lead Guitar), Jeremy Diaz (Rhythm Guitar) and Chris (Drums). The Riverboat Gamblers' premiere show featured over the top songs relating to sex, gambling and drinking.
In 2006, The Riverboat Gambers have plenty of concert dates scheduled including appearances with the LA-based band X.
