Tommy Tune Tickets
Born in 1939, Thomas James "Tommy" Tune is a famed American actor, dancer, singer, music director and choreographer. The 6'7" artist has won nine Tony Awards and a National Medal of Arts. His Broadway debut was in the musical "Baker Street," and he choreographed an original production of "Best Little Whorehouse in Texas," going on to choreograph seven more major shows.
Directing "The Club" and "Cloud Nine," Tune toured the U.S. in "Busker Alley" ('94) and the stage version of "Dr. Doolittle" years later in '06. He has won a Tony in four categories, and his film credits include "Hello Dolly!" and "The Boy Friend." He released his first album, Slow Dancing," in '99. The Tommy Tune Award is presented annually.
