New York based, hard rock band, Winger, is back for more. They formed in 1987 and released their self-titled debut album in 1988. The album achieved Platinum status in the US, and its two singles "Headed for a Heartbreak" and "Seventeen" reached No. 19 and No. 26, on the Billboard Single chart. Their second album, In the Heart of the Young, spring boarded off of the first and achieved 1.5x Platinum status. It spawned the hits "Can't Get Enuff," "Easy Come Easy Go" and "Miles Away."
Winger resurfaced in the 2000s as pop metal made a comeback in the US. They released Karma in 2009 and continue performing live throughout North and South America.
