XIU XIU
XIU XIU is an American band from California. Their music is experimental and innovative. They have received criticism for the video featuring vomiting to the song "Dear God I Hate Myself."
The group began their creative journey in 2002. They have recorded eight albums and a "best of" compilation, nineteen singles, and six collaborative efforts with the groups Grouper, Tom Smith, Oxbow, and Warbucks. In their 2010 release, they used the Nintendo DS to write some of the songs, experimenting with the use of video game programing for music.
