Final Four: Predictions for Round 3 of the NHL Playoffs

If you’re a Canadian hockey fan, the idea of seeing NHL tickets for the 3rd round of the playoffs for under $50 seems like a pipe dream. But these have been no ordinary playoffs.

The postseason is the time ripe for unexpected twists and turns, and few could’ve predicted this year’s edition of the final four of the 2012 Stanley Cup playoffs. To the lament of fans hoping to see a repeat of the star-studded lineups and presence of big-market teams of last year’s playoffs, the 2012 Conference Finals seem to mark a resurgence of pre-lockout hockey. My Top 5: NHL Jerseys

With 30 teams, the NHL has had its interesting share of jerseys over the past few decades. There have been the classics (think Original Six), and then there have been the downright awful (think The Flying V, Nashville’s Mustards, Wild Wing, LA’s 1996 alternates…..the list goes on and on).

Thankfully, there are always a few gems that stand out as good representatives of what the hockey sweater can be. Here are my top five NHL jerseys for the 2011-2012 season.

Giant Killers: Upsets dominating Round 1?
