April 11, 2007 -- A flood of season-ticket sellers looking to capitalize on Canucks playoff-mania has caused playoff ticket prices to drop dramatically in recent days, according to a Vancouver ticket broker. "What we're experiencing now is a saturated market with 10 sellers for every one buyer, resulting in a significant drop in ticket prices," said Mario Livich, founder and CEO of ShowTimeTickets.com. Prices dropped close to 40 percent between Monday and Tuesday.

ShowTime said most calls they've been receiving about tickets have come from ticket holders looking to unload their ducats for some quick cash. They call the volume of sellers "unprecedented".
