Colin Mochrie also starred in the Canadian comedy series Blackfly and Supertown Challenge. Already one of the most highly visible actors in North American television, Colin Mochrie joined This Hour Has 22 Minutes on CBC TV in 2001 through 2003. His prolific career became the subject of a joke on the Canadian sitcom Corner Gas in which a character remarked how Colin Mochrie appeared to be on every TV show - Colin Mochrie himself then walked by.

Colin Mochrie was a guest on the series Distinguished Artists. Currently, he is teamed up with Brad Sherwood touring the United States and Canada performing classic improv games from Whose Line Is It Anyway?. He also sometimes is found touring with other Whose Line alumni in the Improv Allstar shows.
