Like many comedians, Jerry Seinfeld honed his comedy act in small clubs across the nation. His big break came in the late 80's as regular guest of Late Night With David Letterman and The Tonight Show. As his popularity gained, Seinfeld did several television specials, and eventually developed the network sitcom we've all grown to love.
In 2002, Seinfeld starred in a behind the scenes documentary of his stand-up life titled 'Jerry Seinfeld Comedian, Where Does The Comedy Come From'. The film documented the creation of his new stand-up routine, as well as the trials and tribulations of doing a nightly stage act. This suprisingly detailed film provided a great deal of insight into the man behind the jokes. It also further reinforced the obvious: Jerry Seinfeld is hilarious.
