NBA All star weekend is an annual celebration of the best professional basketball players in the National Basketball Association. All Star Weekend usually takes place in February and aims to recognize and honor the top talent in the league, as voted by fans. The annual event also attempts to give something back to fans, through a series of fun contests, games, shootouts and events, meant to entertain fans and thanks them for following the N.B.A.

The main event during All Star Weekend is the legendary NBA All Star Game, which features the top players in the Eastern Conference competing against the West, as voted in by fans. Other than the big game, All Star Weekend also features a variety of exciting and entertaining shootouts, contests and events. In the past, some of these events have included The Rookie Challenge, Celebrity All Star Game, D-League All Star Game, Legends Classic, Three Point Shootout, Skills Challenge, Shooting Stars Competition and the highly anticipated Slam Dunk Contest.
