The Las Vegas Bowl originated in 1992 when the California Raisin Bowl was moved from Fresno to Las Vegas and renamed. It is a NCAA sanctioned, post-season game with match-ups featuring champion teams from the Mountain-West, the Pacific-12, Big West and Mid-American Conferences.
