San Diego Chargers Tickets Continued
The San Diego Chargers were founded by legendary buisinessman Barron Hilton, owner of the Hilton chain of hotels. (And yes, he's also Paris Hilton's Grandfather).
1960 - Originally located in Los Angeles, the Chargers were one of six original charter members of the AFL. From 1960 to 1965, the Chargers went on a rampage, winning five division championships and one league crown in the AFL.
1966 - The Chargers finished third in the AFC Western Division every year from 1966 to 1969.
1970 - The Chargers join the NFL when a merger with the AFL goes through. The Chargers finished third or fourth in the AFC Western Division every year from 1970 to 1978.
1978 - Don Coryell becomes head Coach and Dan Fouts becomes starting quarterback. The following season, Fouts lead the team to the first of three straight division crowns.
1979 - With an iron clad defence, the Chargers bash through the season and hold 8 of 16 opponents to ten or fewer points.
Today, the Chargers are as exciting as ever. Don't wait, order your San Diego Chargers tickets and get in on all the action!
