Manchester City FC Tickets Continued
Manchester City's current stadium is the City of Manchester Stadium, a newly constructed state-of-the-art 48,000-seater stadium situated in East Manchester, leased from Manchester City Council after the 2002 Commonwealth Games. The City of Manchester Stadium has been home to City since the end of the 2002-03 season, when the club moved from Maine Road.
In more recent years, the club has fallen on harder times, which culminated in getting relegated twice in three years, meaning City spent one year in the third tier of English football. However, they have since regained their FA Premier League status, putting them back in the top flight, the division in which they have spent the majority of their history. Despite being often overshadowed by the success of local rivals Manchester United, City enjoy a large fanbase who are well known for their loyalty and good humour.
