Betty White is an American actress, best known for her role as "Rose Nylund" on the hit television show, "The Golden Girls." Since her career took off in 1939, she has worked as an actress, radio host, gameshow regular, model, and author. Highly celebrated for her acting, White has received twenty Emmy nominations, and won seven. In 1995, she was inducted into the Television Hall of Fame, and received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
White has authored several books. Her most recent was 2011's If you Ask Me (And of Course You Won't).
