Blood Brothers Tickets

Written by Willy Russell, Blood Brothers is a musical that is loosely based on the novella The Corsican Brothers, which was written by Alexandre Dumas in the late 1840's. The musical debuted in 1983 and received the Olivier Award for Best Musical. Its Broadway debut was in April of 1993 at the Music Box Theatre, where it ran for 840 performances. It has also been nominated for the Tony Award. The story follows two twins who were voluntarily separated at birth by their mother, who lived in poverty, and her financially stable employer who cannot have children of her own. As teenagers, the boys meet and become friends yet remain unaware of their biological link until the climactic end.

Blood Brothers has been enjoyed around the world with many showings in the US, the UK and Australia. This tragic musical has maintained one of the longest revivals for a Broadway musical, and fans agree that it is a must-see for theatre enthusiasts.
