The Jonas Brothers have just announced dates for a summer tour set to kick off in July!
The massive tour will cover cities in North America, Europe, and Latin America.
The popular trio have stayed very busy the last couple of years, releasing two number one albums and filming the Disney Channel series, “Jonas.” Somehow, they still found time to star in the upcoming Disney movie, “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam.”
The set list for the tour will feature the soon-to-be released soundtrack  from the movie, along with songs from their current hit album, Lines, Vines and Trying Times. The tour will also showcase the talents of Jonas Brothers’ movie co-star, Demi Lovato. Read More

Country music’s Female Vocalist of the Year, Miranda Lambert, is currently touring in promotion of her 2009 studio release, Revolution. This is Lambert’s latest of three consecutive records to debut at number one. Revolution produced her first number one single, “White Liar,” and earned the Academy of Country Music’s album of the year award.

Lambert realized her dream at an early age. She began writing music, and performing in local talent shows at the age of nine, but the talent show that gained her the most attention was in 2003. At nineteen, Lambert competed in the television game show, Nashville Star, where she finished in third place. She signed to a recording label that same year, and quickly eclipsed her former competition. Read More

The suspense ended as the Chicago Blackhawks took the Nashville Predators 5-3 in Monday night’s game, securing a match-up with the Canucks for round two of the Stanley Cup playoffs.
It’s a bit of deja vu for these teams who met last season in the Western Conference semifinal. It would be an understatement to say that the Canucks are looking for a different outcome this time around, as Blackhawks clinched the series after six games last year.
The dates are still being confirmed by the league, but it looks like Game 1 of Round 2 will take place Saturday, May 1, in Chicago. The home-ice advantage goes to the Blackhawks. Read More

Organizers for the all-women concert tour, Lilith Fair, have announced the dates for the 2010 tour. Project co-founder, Sarah McLachlan, will join numerous others on a thirty-six city, two month tour of North America.

Lilith Fair began with two female performers, Sarah McLachlan and Paula Cole, together on tour. It was a sort of revolt against the music industry’s apparent lack of confidence in co-headlining females. Out of the success they found by featuring female guests along the tour, Lilith Fair was born. It has grown to be one of the highest grossing touring music festivals worldwide, and is recognized as a celebration of female musicians from every genre. Read More

Rush Kicks Off Time Machine Tour in June

Long-time rockers, Rush, are launching a tour across North America this summer. The Time Machine Tour kicks off in Albuquerque, New Mexico on June 29th. Named for the upcoming twentieth album from the band, the tour will cover thirty-six cities.

Five dates are scheduled for Canada with the remaining shows spread across the U.S. The final show will take place in West Palm Beach, Florida on October 2nd.
