Tomorrow marks the first ever MLS competition for the Vancouver Whitecaps, as they take on Toronto FC at Empire Field.

Two years ago today, it was announced that the Whitecaps would join the major league. The team and the city have undergone heavy renovations since then.

Charlie Sheen has added twelve new cities to his “Live: My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat is Not an Option tour.” The one-man show will kick off in Detroit on April 2nd, and wrap up in Vancouver on May 2nd.

Little has been released regarding the details of the show, but that hasn’t stopped fans from buying up tickets. The event has sold out in New York, Chicago, and Detroit.

The hit Broadway show, Wicked, will be going to cities all over North America this spring. The upcoming schedule includes sixteen U.S. cities and five Canadian stops, including Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, and Winnipeg.

Since its opening in 2003, Wicked has thrilled theatre-goers, continually selling out venues all over the world. The musical has received thirty-five major awards, including the Tony Awards for “Best Scenic Design” and “Best Costume Design.”
