Oprah Winfrey has been back in the news these past few days, fresh off her revealing interview with disgraced cyclist and newly-confessed doper Lance Armstrong. The Oprah Winfrey Show ended its run nearly two years ago, but the former talk show host certainly still commands an audience.
Fans of her show and of Oprah’s unique brand of self-help will get to see their idol live this week as Winfrey is set to do a series of live arena shows this week. She begins her mini-tour tonight with a date at Edmonton‘s Rexall Place, before moving on to Calgary‘s Scotiabank Saddledome (Tuesday, January 22) and Vancouver‘s Rogers Arena (Thursday, January 24) later this week.

Oprah to bring seminars to Vancouver and Calgary in January 2013

Talk show host, media producer and philanthropist Oprah Winfrey – arguably the most successful and influential woman in the entertainment business – is coming to Vancouver and Calgary! Today it was announced that Winfrey had added a January 24th show in Vancouver, in addition to her Calgary show on January 22nd that was announced earlier this month.
An Evening with Oprah dates:
January 22, 2013 – Calgary, AB (Scotiabank Saddledome)
January 24, 2013 – Vancouver, BC (Rogers Arena)
Tickets to Oprah’s Calgary show are already sold out at the box office, and tickets to her Vancouver date officially go on sale Dec. 1.
