2015 Seattle Seahawks scheduleThe NFL preseason is still months away, but football fans were given something to look forward to this week with the release of the 2015 regular season schedule.

Regular season action begins on Thursday, September 10th with the Super Bowl champion New England Patriots hosting the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Seattle Seahawks’ 2015 campaign will begin on the road against the St. Louis Rams on September 13th. The reigning NFC champions open their home schedule on Sunday, September 27 against the Chicago Bears.

Going into the new season, the Seahawks are looking to make a run for a third-straight Super Bowl appearance following last year’s heartbreaking finale.

First-seeded Seattle Seahawks rolling as NFL playoffs set to begin

Seahawks Playoff TicketsAfter early-season stumbles that had some wondering if they’d even make the playoffs, the Seattle Seahawks are playing their best football at just the right time. Winners of six straight games, the defending champs have home-field advantage throughout the NFC playoffs and look like clear favourites to appear in the Super Bowl once again.

The Seahawks’ aspirations for back-to-back championships begin on January 10th, when they will host either the Detroit Lions, Arizona Cardinals or Carolina Panthers in the NFC divisional playoffs. Should the Seahawks win, the NFC championship game will take place in Seattle on Sunday, January 18. The Super Bowl game will be played on Sunday, February 1st in Glendale, AZ.

Seahawks Make Changes in Off-season

seahawksThe Seattle Seahawks signed Golden Tate today. The talented second-round pick will play for Seattle under a $3.26 million dollar, four-year contract. Tate was a standout player for Notre Dame. He led the country last year as top wide receiver.

This is an exciting day for Seahawks fans and for the player himself. In Tate’s own words via Twitter this morning, “Praise God!!! Terms and conditions have been reached for the Seattle Seahawks!
