St-Pierre vs Koscheck

In a little over a week, Montreal will host UFC: 124. Enjoying the hometown advantage, George St-Pierre will defend his title against American Josh Koscheck.
These two fierce competitors have met before. In 2007, St-Pierre took Koscheck by a winning unanimous decision. A very confident St-Pierre now holds a 20-2 record, and is the reigning welterweight champion.
From UFC’s official website, St-Pierre shares his ultimate fighting goals. “I want to be known as the greatest fighter in the sport of MMA of all-time… I want to be known as the guy who made the difference, not only in the Octagon, but as a spokesperson. To reach that goal, I have to beat some of the best guys in the sport.”
Koscheck may not share such lofty goals, but as far as the fight ahead, according to many news sources, he is just as confident. His varied MMA training in recent years has made him a different fighter, and he claims this unforeseen strength will work in his favor. Koscheck currently holds a record of 17-4.
There is no question this rematch will be intense. See it live with UFC tickets from ShowTimeTickets.com, where we are never sold out!
