Elton John Concert Tickets Elton John is one of the most critically acclaimed and influential musicians in the history of rock and pop music. The singer, song-writer and pianist, over his four-decade career, has sold over 250 million albums, created more than 50 top forty singles and has won many awards, including several Grammies. He was named one of Rolling Stone Magazine's 100 best artists of all time and was even knighted by the British Honors System in 1998. Elton John's powerful voice, brilliant musicianship and ability to put on a great show make him one of the most recognized and talented musicians of our time. Elton John, has announced the next round of dates for his "Red Piano" show in Las Vegas. The veteran entertainer will be back at Sin City's Caesars Palace beginning Mar. 19. Elton John Concert Tickets Continued

His face-to-face tours with fellow pianist Billy Joel have been a fan favourite throughout the world since the mid-1990s. Elton John also has a multi-year contract to perform at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. The show, entitled The Red Piano, is a multimedia concert featuring massive props and video montages created by David LaChapelle.

In September 1997, the lyrics of "Candle in the Wind" were altered for a special version mourning the death of Diana, Princess of Wales, and Elton John performed it at her funeral in Westminster Abbey. A recorded version, "Candle in the Wind 1997", then became the fastest selling single of all time, eventually going on to sell over 30 million copies worldwide. John would later win the Grammy Award for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for the single.

Elton John was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II on 24 February 1998, granting him the title of "Sir".

On 2 July 2005, John performed at the Live 8 concert at Hyde Park in London. Here he sang "The Bitch is Back", "Saturday Night is Alright for Fighting" and lastly, T-Rex's "Children of the Revolution" with Babyshambles' frontman, Pete Doherty. Elton John is currently sandwiching a two-year world tour, some venues of which are new to him, with his regular appearances at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas.
