N.E.R.D. to date, have released two full albums and a few singles, with one more album set to come out in spring 2008. Though they did not achieve superstar-status mainstream success with their albums and singles, the group has acquired a wide legion of loyal fans across the globe.
In 2008, N.E.R.D. announced plans to join Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco and Rihanna on the highly anticipated Glow in the Dark Tour. The tour will hit numerous North American cities and is one of the most anticipated concerts of 2008.
never knew of N.E.R.D until I saw them perform as part of the Glow in the Dark Tour. Their performance was so awesome, when I got home I immediately downloaded-er..I mean, bought, their albums! Now I'm a fan. To give you an idea of how crazy it got: Pharrel (lead singer) ended up losing his voice after finishing his set, because he screamed THAT loud. Highly recommend this band live!
