Shaggy is a Jamaican-American rapper and reggae singer who is best known for his 1995 hit single "Boombastic." He won the Grammy Award for "Best Reggae Album" because of the popularity of his first LP release, which bore the same title as his first hit song. He has been nominated for three other Grammy Awards as well as three American Music Awards. His most recent releases include the hit song "Sugarcane" and features artists such as Tarrus Riley, Agent Sasco and Jaiden.
In 2011, after the release of this much-anticipated album titled "Summer in Kingston," Shaggy struck out on an international tour to promote the album with venues in such destinations as Switzerland, the US, the UK and several countries in Europe.
